How Much Does it Cost to Get Married at The Foundry in NYC?

When it comes to unforgettable New York wedding venues, The Foundry in Long Island City in Queens, New York offers a rare combination of industrial charm and lush garden intimacy. With ivy-covered brick, multiple indoor-outdoor spaces, and just the right amount of raw edge, it’s no surprise it’s a top pick for stylish, city-based couples.

But while it’s stunning in photos, is it realistic for your budget?

The Tulle Together Wedding Pricing Transparency Project is on a mission to collect all of the pricing PDFs for wedding venues across the country. All of the PDFs in our database – 1,800 total and more than 300 in New York – are contributed by other couples planning their weddings. That means we can walk through the venue costs for you – without you having to email them. Below, we’ve broken down everything—from base fees to tenting to required catering —to help you figure out whether The Foundry fits your budget and your vision. Note, this is based off the 2025 pricing PDF that was submitted. If you’re planning for 2026 or 2027, expect higher pricing—but 2025 rates are a solid benchmark to help you assess feasibility.

Venue & Rental Fees at The Foundry

One of the reasons The Foundry stands out is because it’s not a traditional banquet hall or hotel ballroom—it’s a raw space. That means it gives you incredible creative freedom, but also requires a bit more legwork (and budget planning) up front.

In short: you’re building your wedding from the ground up.

The venue provides the bones: a stunning, ivy-covered building, indoor and outdoor ceremony options, a commercial-grade kitchen, and some stylish industrial furniture. But for everything else—from dinner tables and linens to music, florals, and the dance floor vibe—you’ll need to bring in outside vendors.

There are a few required partners:

  • Catering must come from The Foundry’s approved list
  • Rentals (tables, chairs, glassware, etc.) must be ordered through Broadway Party Rentals
  • Tents, if needed, must be rented via Ace Party Rentals

Most couples also hire a planner or coordinator, especially if you want someone to manage the moving parts on the day of.

The result? A highly personalized event that reflects your exact taste—but one that demands thoughtful planning and a realistic budget.

Rental Rates: $11,000 for a weekday in winter to $20,000 on a Saturday in peak season

Required Catering: What You Need to Know

The Foundry requires all clients to select a caterer from their approved vendor list. Outside catering—such as restaurants, private chefs, or unlisted companies—is not permitted.

These approved caterers are full-service, meaning they will manage food, bar service, staffing, and all required rentals through Broadway Party Rentals (another exclusive vendor). Your caterer will also coordinate setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, glassware, and linens.

Estimated costs typically range from $200–$400+ per guest, depending on your menu, service style (buffet vs. plated), bar selections, and staffing needs. You’ll need to reach out to the individual caterers for quotes tailored to your event.

A Few Notable Caterers on the Approved List:

  • Bartleby & Sage – Sustainable catering with flexible menu formats
  • Dish Food & Events – Seasonal, customizable menus
  • Fig & Pig Catering – Ingredient-focused with a rustic-modern approach
  • Compartí Catering – Known for Latin-inspired flavors and restaurant roots
  • Pinch Food Design – Presentation-forward, small-format offerings
  • Marcey Brownstein Catering – Specializes in New York weddings and seasonal fare

Kosher and South Asian caterers are also included, as well as options for vegetarian and globally inspired menus. A full list can be found on The Foundry’s website or by request.

How much could your total wedding cost be if you got married at The Foundy?

When you factor in everything — from venue fees to vendor costs — Tulle Together’s Cost Forecast Tool projects that the total budget of wedding at The Foundry on a Saturday in peak season for 120 guests (assuming a $250 pp catering cost) could land around $125,000. This estimate factors in a range of typical wedding expenses beyond the venue itself, helping couples get a realistic view of what their wedding might actually cost before making any commitments. Of course, someone with a high budget could easily spend more than this – but it’s a starting estimate for what that total wedding cost could look like.

The Cost Forecast Tool is just one of Tulle Together’s budgeting resources. On the website, you’ll find a variety of budget tools designed to help couples plan out their total wedding costs before they book anything.
