Popular Wedding Venues on the Amalfi Coast in Italy (and How Much They Cost)

Planning a wedding on the Amalfi Coast often comes with breathtaking imagery—and very little pricing clarity. Venue websites tend to focus on dramatic cliffside views, historic villas, and seaside terraces while leaving out the details couples actually need to plan realistically. To address that gap, we created the Wedding Pricing Transparency Project, an ongoing effort to collect and organize real wedding venue pricing documents from venues across the U.S. and internationally.

Across Italy alone, we’ve now collected pricing documents for more than 300 wedding venues, including many along the Amalfi Coast. This article highlights a sample of popular Amalfi Coast wedding venues, with each summary based directly on the venue’s official pricing PDFs, brochures, or contracts. The focus is on concrete details—venue fees, required villa buyouts, accommodation costs, and per-person catering prices—so couples can better understand what weddings in this region actually cost. Villa Cimbrone — Ravello, Italy

One of the most iconic wedding venues on the Amalfi Coast, Villa Cimbrone is a historic 12th-century villa hotel in Ravello with sweeping sea views and several garden ceremony locations. Wedding dinners are priced around €290 per person, which includes cocktail hour with prosecco and appetizers, a four-course dinner, wedding cake, coffee, and limoncello. Wine and champagne are charged separately based on consumption. Couples should also plan for several additional venue fees: the ceremony space costs about €6,500 plus VAT for up to 120 guests, while hosting cocktail hour on the famous Infinity Terrace requires an €8,000 plus VAT fee. Weekend weddings typically require a two-night hotel buyout, with the venue’s 19 rooms totaling roughly €66,000 for two nights, plus a second event such as a brunch or rehearsal dinner starting around €220 per person. When catering, venue fees, and accommodations are combined, couples should generally expect a starting wedding budget well into the six-figure range for a full Villa Cimbrone celebration.

Villa La Rondinaia — Ravello, Italy

Perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the Amalfi Coast, Villa La Rondinaia is a historic private villa known for its sweeping terraces and panoramic ceremony spaces. The venue charges an event fee that ranges roughly from €7,000 to €18,000 on weekends depending on guest count (with weekday fees starting around €4,500 for smaller weddings). Dinner pricing is about €290 per person, which includes a multi-course meal, aperitif with passed bites, wedding cake, coffee, and digestifs, though beverages are charged separately. Couples can also add extras like a dessert buffet (€20 per person), welcome drink (€20 per person), or an open bar starting around €3,000. Unlike many larger Amalfi venues, the villa accommodates only about 15 overnight guests, but a minimum 2–3 night stay is typically required, with accommodation packages ranging roughly €24,000–€33,000 for two nights depending on season. With catering, venue fees, and accommodations combined, couples should expect starting budgets around the mid–five figures, increasing with guest count and add-ons.

Villa Eva — Ravello, Italy

Villa Eva is a scenic hillside wedding venue in Ravello overlooking the Amalfi Coast, known for its panoramic terrace reception space and large garden ceremony areas. The venue charges an exclusive rental fee of up to about €19,000 for private use, depending on the day and guest count. Catering is priced separately, with wedding menus typically ranging from about €150 to €235 per person, while buffet-style receptions can reach around €350 per person. Drinks, wine, and prosecco are not included in menu pricing and are either charged per drink or through a bar service platform starting around €2,000–€7,000 depending on guest count. Couples can also host a symbolic ceremony on the property for about €1,000–€4,000, depending on the location within the villa’s grounds. Because the venue fee is relatively modest compared to catering costs, the overall budget for a wedding at Villa Eva is largely driven by guest count, menu selection, and beverage packages.

Hotel Santa Caterina — Amalfi, Italy

Hotel Santa Caterina is a luxury clifftop hotel in Amalfi that boasts lush botanical gardens and panoramic sea views. Wedding receptions typically begin with an aperitif in the hotel’s garden followed by dinner in the “Al Mare” restaurant with exclusive use of the space. Menu pricing ranges from about €350–€410 per person plus 10% VAT, depending on the month and day of the week, and includes a one-hour aperitif with drinks and canapés, a multi-course seated dinner, wedding cake, fruit course, and coffee. Wines during dinner are not included in the menu price, though couples can add a wine pairing package starting around €58–€65 per person, or opt for an open bar package ranging roughly €73–€132 per person for two hours depending on the liquor selection. With catering at over €400 per guest during peak season and additional beverage costs, weddings at Hotel Santa Caterina are generally best suited for high-end destination celebrations with substantial per-guest budgets.

Villa Oliviero — Positano, Italy

Villa Oliviero is a private luxury villa in Positano known for its dramatic sunset views over the Amalfi Coast and multi-level terraces overlooking the bay. Unlike many Amalfi Coast venues that charge event-based fees, weddings here are typically tied to renting the entire villa, with weekly rental rates around €45,000 in high season (June–September) and about €34,000–€42,000 in spring and fall. In peak summer months, the villa generally requires a full Saturday-to-Saturday weekly booking, though shorter 3–4 night stays may be possible in the shoulder seasons. The property includes six sea-view bedrooms plus an additional guest apartment, daily breakfast, housekeeping, and on-site staff including a chef. Weddings can host up to about 80 guests, with ceremonies often held by the pool and receptions on the villa’s terraces. An additional event fee of around €4,000 applies, while catering is arranged separately through the villa’s chef.

Má Cà Casa Privata — Praiano, Italy

Má Cà Casa Privata is a boutique seaside villa in Praiano known for its lush gardens and intimate atmosphere overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Couples can either rent the entire villa for a minimum three-night stay starting around €8,500–€12,990 per night depending on the season, or book the property for a one-day exclusive venue hire of about €29,500 without accommodation. When staying at the villa, an additional event fee of around €9,990 applies for hosting a wedding during the stay. The property accommodates up to 14 overnight guests across seven rooms, while events can host up to about 120 guests with a minimum guest guarantee typically required. Catering is customized with the in-house chef, but typical pricing starts around €180 per person for a four-course dinner, with additional options like cocktail hour, canapés, and open bar packages available. Couples can also opt for in-house event planning services for about €5,500, which many destination weddings at the property utilize.

Villa Laguna Blu — Positano, Italy

Villa Laguna Blu is a small private villa in Positano designed for intimate destination weddings with panoramic sea views. The venue charges a villa rental fee of about €4,500 for the wedding reception, making it one of the more affordable private villa options on the Amalfi Coast. The property also includes accommodation for a small group, with rooms typically priced around €900 per night for up to six guests, and weddings often booked alongside a multi-night stay. In one sample proposal, a four-night stay plus the wedding event totaled around €8,100. Because the property is relatively small, Villa Laguna Blu is best suited for very intimate celebrations or elopement-style weddings, rather than large receptions. Catering and additional wedding services are typically arranged separately depending on the couple’s plans.

Giardini del Fuenti — Vietri sul Mare, Italy

Giardini del Fuenti is a dramatic cliffside venue on the Amalfi Coast designed for large destination weddings, with multiple terraced event spaces overlooking the sea. Couples can rent the entire venue for around €40,000 per day during peak season, which includes exclusive use of areas like the Giardino, Limoneto, Arena, Caveau lounge, and beach club. Catering is handled in-house, with wedding menus starting around €220 per person, while more elaborate menu options can reach €300–€400 per guest. Beverage packages typically start around €20–€50 per person, depending on the cocktail and wine selections. The venue can host large weddings of up to roughly 250–300 guests across its gardens and terraces, making it one of the higher-capacity venues on the Amalfi Coast. Because of the large guest capacity and premium catering, total wedding costs here are largely driven by guest count and menu selection, especially for larger celebrations.

Agriturismo Fattoria Terranova — Massa Lubrense, Italy

Agriturismo Fattoria Terranova is a rustic countryside wedding venue overlooking the Bay of Naples, offering a more relaxed and affordable alternative to many Amalfi Coast venues. One of the biggest advantages is that there is no venue rental fee for weddings, with costs primarily driven by catering and optional services. Wedding menus typically range from about €85 to €130 per person, depending on the menu selection and number of courses. A symbolic or civil ceremony setup costs around €1,100 plus VAT, which includes chairs, floral arch, microphone, and a refreshment station, while legal paperwork assistance is about €500 if needed. The property also offers 14 rooms and two villas that can accommodate around 50–54 guests, usually with a minimum two-night stay for overnight celebrations. Because venue rental is included and catering prices are relatively modest, weddings here can be significantly more budget-friendly than many Amalfi Coast venues, especially for couples planning a relaxed countryside celebration.

Castore — Sorrento, Italy

Castore is a private hilltop wedding venue just outside Sorrento known for its panoramic terraces overlooking the Bay of Naples and Capri. One of its biggest advantages is that there is no venue rental fee, as couples simply pay for the wedding menu and any extras they choose. Wedding menus range from about €85 to €135 per person, depending on the menu selection, and include a welcome aperitif, multiple courses, limoncello, and a bottle of wine shared among every four guests. The venue can host up to around 150 guests, making it suitable for both intimate weddings and mid-sized celebrations. Couples can also add a symbolic ceremony setup on the Capri-view terrace starting around €900, while optional extras like DJs, decorations, and late-night pizza or gelato stations can be added à la carte. Because the venue itself does not charge a rental fee, total wedding costs at Castore are largely determined by guest count and menu selection, making it a relatively flexible option compared to many Amalfi Coast venues.
