Planning a wedding in Sicily often comes with stunning imagery—sunlit Baroque towns, cliffside fishing villages, historic villas, and citrus groves overlooking the Mediterranean—but very little pricing clarity. Many venue websites highlight the romance of the setting while leaving out the practical details couples actually need to budget and compare options. To address that gap, we created the Wedding Pricing Transparency Project, an ongoing effort to collect and organize real wedding venue pricing documents from venues across the U.S. and internationally.
Across Italy alone, we’ve now gathered pricing documents for more than 300 wedding venues, including many throughout Sicily—from Taormina’s luxury hotels and historic tonnaras along the northwest coast to countryside estates in the Val di Noto. This article highlights a selection of popular Sicily wedding venues, with each summary based directly on the venue’s official pricing PDFs, brochures, or contracts. The focus is on concrete details—venue rental fees, minimum-stay requirements, accommodation buyouts, and per-person catering costs—so couples can better understand what weddings in Sicily actually cost.
