Receptions are held under a spacious 3,640-square-foot sailcloth tent, which is permanently installed for the season and comes equipped with clear sidewalls, bistro lighting, a 20’ x 20’ dance floor, and heat as needed. The tent is included in the rental price, overlooks the gardens, giving guests an open-air experience with the comfort of weather protection.

The mansion’s first floor is fully ADA-compliant and includes several elegant rooms for pre-ceremony gatherings or indoor cocktail hours, including the Drawing Room, Dining Room, Veranda, and Foyer. Upstairs, there are three designated dressing rooms for the wedding party, available two hours before the ceremony.

Venue Rental Fee

Glen Magna Farms offers flat-rate pricing based on the day of the week, with a seasonal focus from May through October. All rentals include exclusive use of the grounds and mansion for an 8.5-hour block (2.5 hours for setup, 5-hour event, and 1 hour for breakdown). A Danvers Historical Society Family-level membership is required for all bookings.

Bar options include hosted or cash bar service, and Vinwood enforces a 4.5-hour alcohol service limit, with bar service ending 30 minutes before the end of the event. Beer kegs and self-service alcohol are not allowed. Wine tastings and menu consultations are available, typically for a fee.

While specific catering prices aren’t published in the venue’s PDF, Tulle estimates that full-service catering in the Greater Boston/North Shore area typically runs between $150–$275 per guest, depending on menu choices, bar tier, and rental upgrades.
