Every data point on Tulle comes from a real document, a direct quote or pricing PDF submitted by a real couple who was/is planning a real wedding. Not an industry average. Not a starting price pulled from a website.

The wedding industry runs on starting prices. Venues list their “minimum” with all the fine print buried. Many wedding directories and aggregators build listings from vendor websites, anonymous online comments, forum posts, Reddit threads, and self-reported survey data. Those sources can be useful, but they’re often incomplete, outdated, or impossible to verify.
Tulle only publishes pricing tied to an original quote, proposal, contract, or pricing document. If a price can’t be traced back to a real source document, it doesn’t belong in our database.
Every price on Tulle was extracted from an original quote or pricing PDF submitted by the couple who received it. When you see a number on Tulle, you’re seeing what a real vendor actually quoted a real couple, with all the nitty gritty details.
Tulle is the largest dataset of its kind. Over 8,000 submitted quotes with verified pricing, and the only one that shows you the actual source documents behind every number. Not scraped estimates. Not industry averages. Real quotes, from real vendors, sent to real couples.

Money taken from vendors to be featured
Couple-powered, no ads ever
There are two ways a price observation enters our index:
Couple submissions are the foundation of everything. A real person who received a real vendor quote submits their pricing email or attached PDF through our submission form. Every couple submission is reviewed by a human before it appears on the site.
Vendor-submitted pricing Vendors can always submit their current pricing through our site. So long as we are able to verify what is submitted has in depth pricing details (no vague “starting at”) we will display it.
Tulle exists because thousands of couples have chosen to share what they learned during their wedding planning journey. Every submission helps future couples budget smarter, compare options more confidently, and avoid costly surprises.
Every submission goes through the same steps, in this order. Nothing is published until it has been reviewed and verified for in depth pricing.
1.) A couple submits a document
Through our submission form. We accept the original email or PDF quote they received from the vendor.
2.) The document enters a moderation queue
Nothing is published yet. The submitter sees a confirmation. The document is not visible to anyone outside our review team.
3.) AI takes a first pass to verify in depth pricing exists and personal information is not present.
We have a number of automated checks that scan for in depth pricing and personal, identifying information. Anything that looks insubstantial (just a menu and add ons, only a starting at price etc.) or personal (personal names, phone numbers, emails, etc) is flagged for a more in depth review.
4.) A human reviewer opens the document
The price document enters the public database. The vendor’s listing updates.
We don't scrape websites or collect anonymous rumors. Every price in Tulle can be traced back to a real quote, proposal, or pricing document that has been reviewed before publication.
Submitting a vendor quote is more personal than leaving a review. Pricing emails often contain your full name, your partner’s name, and sometimes your address or contact information. We know this.
Documents are redacted before they are ever published. Names, addresses, phone numbers, and signatures are blurred or removed by an automated process.
We never publish your name. Submissions appear on the public site with only the wedding month and general location. No names, no initials, nothing identifying.
The value of Tulle comes from real pricing shared by real couples. Our job is to preserve the first part while removing the second. We review every submission with privacy in mind before anything becomes public.
If you find something on Tulle that’s wrong, there are three ways to fix it.
1.) If your own submission has an error
Email us! We’ll correct or remove the submission within 2-3 business days.
2.) If you’re a vendor with outdated pricing
Submit current pricing through our vendor portal. We’ll review it and update your page. Note: We always keep past season pricing as this allows couples to see changes year over year.
3.) If you’re anyone else with a concern
Use the “flag” link on any listing. A reviewer will examine the original source and remove if for some reason the pricing is not complete.
Wedding prices change over time, and that history is valuable. We may update or supplement older pricing, but we generally don't remove verified information simply because newer pricing exists. Couples deserve to understand how costs change year to year.
Tulle is independent. We have no ownership relationships, funding relationships, or commercial arrangements with any wedding venue, vendor, or industry marketplace.
Vendors can participate in our index by submitting their pricing. That participation does not create a commercial relationship and does not affect their placement in search or listings.
Every document in our database was submitted voluntarily by the couple who received it. By submitting, contributors confirm they have the right to share the pricing information contained in the document.
If that ever changes, if we take outside investment, enter a commercial partnership with a wedding industry company, or change how we handle vendor relationships — we’ll update this page within 30 days and say so plainly.
