Ceremony & Reception Spaces & Costs at Hotel Crescent Court?

Hotel Crescent Court offers an impressive variety of event spaces, each with its own character and capacity, making it easy for couples to find a setting that fits both their guest count and their wedding vision.

For large celebrations, the Crescent Ballroom is the crown jewel—an elegant, expansive indoor venue that can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated reception. This grand space is ideal for formal evening affairs, with room for dining, dancing, and elaborate décor.

Couples looking for an outdoor ceremony will love the Garden Room Courtyard, which also fits up to 200 guests. Framed by manicured hedges and natural greenery, this courtyard creates a romantic setting for vows under the open sky.

The Gallery Ballroom is another versatile option. It can host 100 guests for an outdoor ceremony, up to 250 for an indoor ceremony, or up to 175 for a reception. With flexible setups and a spacious layout, it works well for both traditional and contemporary wedding formats.

For more intimate events, the Crescent Club—located on the upper floors of the hotel—offers several upscale options with city views. The Gourmet Room accommodates up to 130 guests for a ceremony or 65 for a reception, while the Rotisserie Room flips those capacities: 100 for ceremonies and up to 130 for receptions. These rooms are great for rehearsal dinners or smaller weddings with a focus on fine dining and ambiance.

Lastly, the Crescent Club Main Dining Room and Bar is available for wedding receptions on Saturdays only, and can host up to 50 guests. This space is best suited for intimate celebrations or a luxe after-party with close friends and family.

Whether you’re planning a black-tie gala or a garden-inspired gathering, Hotel Crescent Court’s wide range of spaces allows you to create a wedding day that reflects your style and scale.

Venue Fees

At Hotel Crescent Court, rather than charging a single flat rental rate, the cost to host a wedding is based on food and beverage (F&B) minimums, plus additional venue and ceremony fees. These costs vary depending on your guest count, event space, and date.

For example, reserving the Crescent Ballroom for a reception with 120 guests requires a $30,000 F&B minimum. This minimum must be met through catering and bar selections alone—it does not include rental fees, taxes, or service charges.

Additional Required Fees

  • Ceremony Fee: $4,000
This includes a dedicated ceremony space for up to two hours, garden white chairs, a small stage for the officiant, wireless mics and speakers, and a dedicated technician.
  • Room Rental Fee: $3,500
Charged separately from the F&B minimum and applies to the reserved reception space.

Taxes and Service Charges

All food, beverage, and venue charges are subject to the following:

  • 8.25% Texas state sales tax
  • 10% taxable event fee
  • 25% taxable service charge

💡 For budgeting purposes, keep in mind that these add approximately 35–40% to your base catering and rental charges.

What’s Included in the Venue Fee

When the food and beverage minimum is met, couples receive:

  • Complimentary Metropolitan Suite for two nights
  • Sparkling wine and chocolate-covered strawberries
  • One complimentary location session for wedding portraits
  • Menu tasting for up to four
  • Complimentary getaway car (subject to availability + $50 driver gratuity)

Also included with your reception:

  • Professional catering manager
  • Banquet staff
  • Tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware
  • Votive candles
  • Wooden parquet dance floor and staging

Tulle’s Cost Forecast Tool estimates that a 150-guest wedding at Hotel Crescent Court will cost around $125,000, factoring in the venue’s required food and beverage minimums, ceremony and room rental fees, and all applicable taxes and service charges. This projection also includes the full scope of a wedding day—from catering and bar to planning, florals, photo and video, attire, entertainment, and gratuities—offering a realistic picture of total spend at this luxury Dallas venue.

When you factor in everything — from venue fees to vendor costs — Tulle Together’s Cost Forecast Tool projects that the total budget of a wedding at Hotel Crescent Court could land around $125,000, depending on your guest count (this estimates the spend based on 130 guests on a peak-season Saturday), design scope, and other vendor selections. This estimate factors in a range of typical wedding expenses beyond the venue & catering itself, helping couples get a realistic view of what their wedding might actually cost before making any commitments. Of course, someone could spend more or less than this (especially if you go with off-season pricing and less guests!) – but it’s an average estimate for what that total wedding cost could look like.
