Euphoria — The Langham Huntington, Pasadena
If Nate and Cassie’s chaotic luxury wedding in Euphoria looked expensive on screen, it absolutely would be in real life too. The filming location, The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, is one of Southern California’s most iconic luxury wedding venues, known for its grand staircases, manicured gardens, and old-Hollywood glamour — exactly the kind of setting Cassie would obsess over. While the show made a point to highlight her reported $50,000 floral arrangements, the venue itself would already push the wedding firmly into six-figure territory. The hotel’s iconic Horseshoe Garden ceremony site currently starts at $15,000, while reception packages begin at $220 per guest for a plated dinner, champagne toast, wedding cake, and service staff. Add in premium open bar packages, luxury upgrades, taxes, and the hotel’s 24% administrative fee, and a 150-person wedding here could easily cost well over $100,000 before flowers, fashion, or entertainment are even factored in.
Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones — Villa del Balbianello
Anakin and Padmé’s secret lakeside wedding at the end of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones may have only lasted a few quiet minutes on screen, but recreating the iconic elopement today would cost far more than most couples would expect. The ceremony was filmed at Villa del Balbianello on Italy’s Lake Como, one of the most famous luxury wedding venues in the world thanks to its dramatic terraces, cypress-lined gardens, and cinematic lake views. For a small modern-day ceremony with up to 10 guests, couples can expect to pay around €3,900–€7,500 just for a two-hour venue rental, while larger private events can climb to €25,900 for a six-hour buyout. And if you want the full celebrity-style Lake Como experience with dinner on the waterfront terrace, pricing jumps to an eye-watering €65,000 before catering, flowers, entertainment, or the required 22% VAT are even added.
Sex and the City: The Movie — The New York Public Library
Carrie Bradshaw’s almost-wedding to Mr. Big in Sex and the City: The Movie remains one of the most iconic fictional weddings ever filmed in New York — complete with Vivienne Westwood, a dramatic runaway bride moment, and the instantly recognizable steps of the New York Public Library. And while the ceremony never technically happened in the movie, recreating Carrie’s grand black-tie vision today would require an equally dramatic budget. The New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Bride Wars — The Plaza Hotel
Few movie weddings are as gloriously over-the-top as the dueling Plaza Hotel weddings in Bride Wars, where Emma and Liv turn their lifelong dream of becoming “June brides at The Plaza” into a full-scale Manhattan wedding war. And honestly, the movie wasn’t exaggerating the exclusivity. The Plaza remains one of New York City’s most legendary luxury wedding venues, with pricing today that easily explains why the characters treated their wedding dates like once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Current pricing for the Terrace Room starts at $525–$550 per guest with required minimum guest counts of 200–250 people, bringing the required wedding spend to roughly $161,000–$205,000 before additional décor, entertainment, photography, fashion, or extravagant floral installations are added. Once service charges, gratuities, taxes, staffing, lighting, and production costs are factored in, a real-life Bride Wars-style Plaza wedding could very realistically push past half a million dollars today.
27 Dresses — Central Park Boathouse
In 27 Dresses, Jane’s sister Tess plans her picture-perfect wedding at the iconic Central Park Boathouse — even though the wedding itself never actually happens there. One scene involves Jane reluctantly showing up to the restaurant tasting while quietly spiraling through bridesmaid duty overload (especially because she’s in love with her sister’s fiancé!). The venue perfectly fits the movie’s polished Upper East Side wedding aesthetic, with waterfront views in the middle of Central Park and classic New York romance built into every corner. Today, a real wedding at the Central Park Boathouse would come with a very Manhattan-sized price tag: wedding packages currently start around $400–$450 per guest, with venue fees beginning around $7,500–$10,000 depending on the event date and guest count. A 200-person wedding with the venue’s ultra-premium package can easily total over $130,000 once taxes, service charges, and administrative fees are included — and that’s before adding custom florals, entertainment, fashion, or any of the over-the-top details.
Hitch — Old Westbury Gardens
The lavish final wedding scene in Hitch — where Allegra Cole marries Albert Brennaman after Hitch helps bring the unlikely couple together — was filmed at the stunning Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island’s Gold Coast. With its sprawling European-style gardens, grand mansion backdrop, and unmistakable old-money elegance, the estate feels like the perfect setting for a celebrity wedding that still somehow manages to feel romantic and personal. Today, getting married at Old Westbury Gardens would require a similarly impressive budget: property buyouts currently start at $100,000 and include exclusive access to the grounds, setup days, and breakdown time, but that fee does not include catering, tenting, rentals, staffing, planning, or production costs. Since the venue is essentially a blank luxury estate, couples also need to bring in nearly every vendor separately — including mandatory planners and tenting for most receptions — meaning a large-scale wedding here could easily climb well beyond several hundred thousand dollars once all the details are added in.
Gossip Girl — Bethesda Terrace, Central Park

Despite being set in Milwaukee and Chicago, most of Bridesmaids was actually filmed around Los Angeles — including the movie’s elegant final wedding scene, which took place at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia. The 127-acre botanical garden has quietly become one of Hollywood’s favorite filming locations over the years, appearing in everything from Fantasy Island to Tarzan films, and its lush gardens made the perfect backdrop for Lillian’s polished outdoor wedding. Today, couples can still get married there for surprisingly reasonable venue pricing by movie wedding standards, with ceremony and reception site combinations starting around $5,560 depending on the location selected. Catering packages currently range from about $180–$235 per person before taxes and fees, with hosted bars, ceremony setup, chairs, staffing, and menu tastings included in many packages. Of course, once florals, entertainment, photography, and custom décor are layered in, the total can climb quickly.
Wedding Crashers — Inn at Perry Cabin
More than 20 years after Wedding Crashers premiered, the Inn at Perry Cabin in Saint Michaels, Maryland still feels instantly recognizable as the dreamy waterfront estate where much of the movie’s lavish wedding weekend unfolds. Set along the Chesapeake Bay, the luxury resort has fully embraced its rom-com legacy, offering the same coastal elegance, sprawling lawns, sailboats, and sunset views that made the film feel like peak early-2000s wedding fantasy. Today, couples can recreate the vibe with plated dinners ranging from roughly $110–$224 per guest, reception-style dinner stations reaching $136 per person, and premium bar packages starting around $38–$48 per guest for the first hour alone. Sweet Home Alabama — Oak Hill at Berry College
While Sweet Home Alabama is famously set in Alabama, much of the movie was actually filmed across Georgia — including Melanie’s dramatic plantation wedding scene, which took place at Oak Hill at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. In the film, the grand Greek Revival estate serves as the Carmichael Plantation, where Melanie and Andrew’s lavish Southern wedding ultimately falls apart before she reunites with Jake. Today, couples can still get married at the historic property, with Oak Hill wedding packages starting around $8,000 for the Home & Gardens package or $10,000 for the larger Gardens & Pavilion option, both of which include 12-hour access, rehearsal time, garden access, parking, and tables and chairs for certain reception spaces. Compared to many of the luxury movie venues on this list, it’s surprisingly attainable.
